Charity date for Doyle:
News of an exciting event/concert has come through from the charity ‘Leukaemia Research.’ ‘Music from the Movies’ (good title don’t you think?) will feature the music of Patrick Doyle, who will host the event, and who has himself fought a brave battle with the disease. Patrick was diagnosed in 1997, but is now thankfully in good health and working harder than ever.

The concert takes place at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday October 28th and will feature selections from scores such as Calendar Girls, Henry V, Bridget Jones Diary and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Stars such as Dame Judi Dench, Kenneth Branagh, Alan Rickman and Sir Derek Jacobi will be in attendance.
